Second District of Sikkim with the Lowest Literacy Rate
North Sikkim, with a population of 43,709, has the second-lowest literacy rate in the state, at 78.01%. Of this population, 30,450 individuals are literate. Despite its stunning landscapes and strategic importance, North Sikkim faces challenges in education access, contributing to its relatively lower literacy rate compared to other districts in Sikkim.
